Deal sourcing questions
No. The course starts with the basics, including how to analyse a deal, so you can package with confidence from your first property.
Sourcing fees are commonly 2% to 3% of the purchase price, or a fixed fee of a few thousand pounds. Higher-value or more complex deals, such as HMOs or BRRR projects, often command higher fees.
Yes. To charge sourcing fees in the UK you need to join a property redress scheme, register with HMRC for anti-money laundering supervision, register with the ICO for data protection, and have professional indemnity insurance. Module 2 walks you through each step.
Much less than buying property. Your main costs are compliance registrations, insurance and marketing. You don’t need a deposit or mortgage.
A deal pack is a document that presents an investment property to a buyer: photos, price, comparable sales, rent, refurbishment costs and expected returns. A clear pack helps investors decide quickly.
Through property networking events, social media, your own content and referrals. Module 5 shows you how to build and keep a buyer list.
